The ME Track Tester is a basic track tester that uses three LEDs to indicate the status of the track. The tester is suitable for gauges N to OO/HO. The tester will tell you:- Whether the track is DC, AC (non DCC) or if the track is DCC.

Track Tester 301-063 – Instructions
The ME Track Tester is a basic track tester that uses three LEDs to indicate the status of the track. The tester is suitable for gauges N to OO/HO.
The tester will tell you:
- Whether the track is DC, AC (non DCC) or if the track is DCC.
- The polarity of a DC track, so you know + is on the correct rail.
- The gauge of the rail.
General Use
Hold the tester firmly onto the rails being tested, with the + connection to the right-hand rail (facing forward). The other rail should meet one of the marked connectors indicating the gauge. Which combinations of LEDs light up will tell you the kind of layout.
